Philippe Blondiaux

is the Global CFO of Chanel. Based in New York he oversees finance operations across the various divisions, regions, and activities of the company. He is in charge of modernizing the finance vision and skill-sets, and bringing valuable insights to the business leadership of the company.

Philippe is a French national. He earned his MBA from Ecole de Management de Lyon in France and obtained D.E.S.C.F. (French Chartered Accountancy designation) just one year later. He began his career with KPMG. With the Bolloré Group, he held positions as operational CFO of various subsidiaries of the Group in Africa.

Philippe then moved to Nestlé, the biggest Food and Beverage company in the world. He began as Assistant CFO for Nestlé West and Central Africa based in the Ivory Coast, and moved to CFO for Nestlé Pakistan then as Group Treasurer based at Nestlé’s headquarters in Switzerland, managing net assets of CHF 12 billion, liabilities of CHF 33 billion, and led financings for CHF 25 billion in acquisitions. He then moved to Moscow as CFO of the Nestlé Russian/CIS Region, partnering with the CEO to drive double digit growth after just one year. 2 years later, he was promoted as CFO of Nestlé Europe, a key strategic region generating approximately CHF 25 billion in sales (25% of global sales), where he oversaw a finance organization of 3000 people, actively contributed to regaining market share and restoring profitability by helping shift the culture of the finance organization from cost cutting to driving innovation, focusing on growth and leading initiatives to reduce costs. As Nestlé‘s Senior Vice President–Corporate/Group Controller reporting to the CFO, he controlled the group strategic business units and co-piloted the group’s Strategy and Operational management along with the Group CEO, CFO, and other members of the leadership team.

As an athlete, the mission of CYCLE Kids resonates with Philippe. He understands the importance of physical activity and good nutrition in creating life balance. In his free time, Philippe trains and runs marathons all over the world. He is currently developing his skills as a cyclist and training to compete in triathlons.
